Who we are

Naomi's journey with “Time Travel Cuisine” began with her passion for culture, long before the restaurant business. As a young traveler, she fell in love with the authentic flavors of different regions and dreamed of one day sharing those experiences.

With years of executive experience behind her, the timing was perfect when she met Chef Ni, a true master of classic Chinese dishes; along with Chef Chen, an award-winning pastry chef. Together, they’ve crafted a restaurant where each dish serves as a journey into the heart of Chinese culinary tradition, rich in authenticity and flavor, inviting guests to return for more unforgettable culinary experiences.

Our Pastry Chef

Chef Chen began his career at the Crowne Grand Hotel in Hangzhou, China, training as a pastry chef and later refined his craft in cities like Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Harbin.

After 8 years mastering dim sum in China, he moved to the U.S. and became the dim sum chef at The Bao in Manhattan, a restaurant featured in The New York Times, ABC, and Chinese TV. He continued working as a dim sum chef in notable restaurants across Philadelphia, New York, and New Jersey before joining Time Travel Cuisine to help develop a brand dedicated to bringing the authenticity and delicacy of traditional Chinese food to America. With his commitment to preserving genuine flavors and culinary heritage, Chef Chen is aiming to Chinese dim sum a celebrated experience for American audiences.
